Gratitude is the most accurate word to describe my feelings this Thanksgiving. I am so aware of the families that have lost everything in Hurricane Sandy. My heart and prayers go out to them. I'm very thankful for my faith, my family and friends, a roof over my head and a warm bed to sleep in. I don't ever want to take them for granted.

If you look closely at the framed picture you will see our sweet Tabby "Nicolas". He lived to be a few months shy of 20 years old.
This is my favorite photo of him. I love this photo.
I layed my Bible down to answer the phone and when I returned he was sound asleep...resting sweetly on God's Holy Word.
