Did you watch Million Dollar Decorators last night?

Well I did and it was just what I wanted! Totally cliche and over the top Hollywood designers who are so ridiculously in love with themselves I can hardly stand to watch! But I so so will. I think my favorite part was when Mary McDonald's client called her over to tell her that she was getting a divorce and selling the house and Mary said "Ok thank God, I thought you were gonna tell me something terrible like you lost all your money." (I'm paraphrasing but you get the idea).

I do like that they are all friends. Nathan Turner and Mary McDonald are bff and Nathan said that Mary McDonald is who the character Karen, from Will and Grace is loosely based on. Not sure if that is true or a total joke but regardless, I like it! I do hope they show more of the actual design process and these talented designers work as the show goes on.

I really liked designer Nathan Turner's personality so I wanted to highlight some of his design work.

Is it bad that I am so obsessed with Bravo that I heard about Bin Laden's death from Andy Cohen? He was like we will all remember where you were when you heard this news. Um, I was in bed watching Watch What Happens Live. Oh Sidney! Rest assured I switched to the news for full coverage.

I have a major crush on Joel McHale. How can you not? Funny is hot. His Hollywood home was featured in InStyle in December 2010 and since my scanner has been MIA for months (still have not hooked up the new one! argh!) I am just getting around to posting this. His wife, Sarah Williams, whom he starting dating in college, is an interior designer and it shows! I hear that Sarah and her collaborator, Elizabeth Gordon, both use to work for Kelly Wearstler which makes sense as you can certainly see the designer's regency influences reflected in this home. Ok, so she is married to Joel McHale AND worked for Kelly Wearstler...I'm turning a little bit green.

They are pretty much one-of-a-kind, as they are made from actual pigeon baskets with casters added on the bottom and a glass top to make it functional. But never fear, wait long enough and Pottery Barn will knock-it off and you can buy a mass produced one straight from their catalog. And so can your neighbor. And their neighbor. And so on and so on...

Do you remember the Friends episode where Rachel bought the Apothecary table at Pottery Barn but lied and told Phoebe that she got it at a flea market because Phoebe hates Pottery Barn? I actually saw that episode being filmed when I was in L.A. Still cracks me up...

Does anyone watch Jerseylicious? No, not Jersey Shore it is the low-budge knock off. Well I did for the first time last night. OMG. Now I will throw out a disclaimer because I realize that not everyone in or from Jersey is like this. Just like everyone from Georgia is not a toothless redneck who says "ain't." But this show (however fake it may be) does make me laugh. On the episode I watched last night, the two girls that live together redecorated their apartment. I wish I knew how to show you a picture of the after (if someone has it, please email it to me so I can add it!!!). But it went a lil' somethin' like this...

These are not direct quotes but I was frantically trying to write down what they were saying about their makeover and this was all I could capture...

"There are rules, you can't just put animal print on animal print."
Um, really?

"We call it Junglelicious!"
